Moringa oleifera is a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree, native to the sub-Himalayas region. In Africa, Moringa has been cultivated for over 500 years.

Moringa has been used for centuries for a wide variety of purposes. It is described as a ‘Miracle Tree’ due to its impressive range of medicinal uses and high nutritional value.

Moringa contains important miracles, and is a good source of protein, vitamins, beta-carotene, amino acids and various phenolics. Given these qualities it is considered to have high potential in combating malnutrition.
